My first round winning image. The theme was “Duality”  The idea popped into my head as I was waking up one morning.
Duality is a broad theme.  I didn’t want to create the symbol of a ying-yang because I knew others would go there. (and several did)The concept here is the crow, a living being that represents death in many cultures, is giving life to the cubes which are in-animate objects.
My scene was going well but got a bit out of hand toward the end of the 20 minute round.  I lost the crows feet as they slipped through the floor. The whole scene tilted to the right and I frantically tried to get it back to normal as the clock was running out. Also the composition isn’t as tight as I would have liked.
